Located outside of Shelburn on the North Santiam River
The 2.7 acres owned by Fish and Wildlife is a long 40 foot wide abandoned railroad right-of-way which widens to 60 feet near the river. The access road is very rough and includes a steep section at the oold river bank. The site is very limited in area and its sole purpose is providing boaters access to the North Santiam River. Some bank fishing takes place at the site. No usage other than boaters is encouraged.

The covered bridge and water wheel power plant enhance the visual scape and add to the area's historical interest.
