Painting is a "passion of the heart" for Alice Tetamore. Her background experiences of working with children inspires her interest in telling a story in her paintings. Alice paints landscapes, still life, flowers and portraits in the classic realist style. "Capturing the uniqusness of an individual is a challenge that I enjoy in portraiture," she declares. While her portraits feature people of all ages, she has expanded her mediums to the exciting potential of watercolors. Commissions are accepted in both mediums and for a variety of subjects. Her work has been juried into the Corvallis Art Guild and the Watercolor Society of Oregon. She maintains an Oregon Crafted home studio in Brownsville where she also participatesin the local art association. OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

What started as a quest is now our passion, producing world class sparkling wines. Obtaining this goal required three ingredients: ideal grapes - Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grown in Oregon's cool climate; a skilled winemaker with expertise in traditional Methode Champenoise; and lots and lots of patience.
In 1998 this vision became reality with our first harvest. Now ten years later, our commitment to showcasing Oregon's bounty has expanded into an award winning portfolio of still and sparkling wines. Begin your own quest for fine wines with us at Domaine Meriwether.
O! THE JOY!

“Business of the Year, Eagle Rock Lodge of Vida, has been getting rave reviews for its three-course breakfasts, natural based cuisine and hospitality of owners Randy and Debbie Dersham. The updated facility has a rich history dating back to the 1940’s and a close association with guided river fishing. The latter was mentioned several times by supporters of the Lodge’s annual Wooden Boat Festival…”

The Willamette Valley is nestled between the Cascade and Coastal ranges in Oregon and stretches from the Oregon-Washington border south to the city of Eugene. Historically, it was a land of wet prairies, dry prairies, oak savannas, and mixed woodlands. Today, most of this land has been developed. The refuges of the Willamette Valley National Wildlife Refuge Complex represent a significant portion of what is left.

You will find plants that are:
…not sprayed with growth regulators commonly used to extend shelf life. They are grown unhampered from cutting or seed to take off quickly in your garden. Growth regulators are used only on a few select plants if they enhance final garden performance.
…propagated legally: all restrictions and royalties are observed.
…carefully selected: we are constantly improving our selection of new and exotic plants.
…available throughout most of the year: since we are propagators as well as growers, some size is usually available year- round.
…not sold before their time: we will not try to send plants earlier in the season than is best for their ultimate performance and survival.
…custom propagated for your individual needs : we are always happy to help you obtain plants by custom propagation or special ordering to your size and variety specifications.
...sold by folks available for advice along the way: We are eager to be your partners in the fun and adventure of gardening!
