 Named after the river that drains the foothills of the Coast Range, the white settlers could not pronounce the Indian name,and called it "Long Tom," instead.

Home of the Long Tom Grange (and the nation's first world-acclaimed Men of the Long Tom Grange Calendar, and the Pacific Northwest's Finest Daffodil Drive Festival), this is quintessential Oregon--scenic,winding country roads dappled with wild blackberries,perfect for bicyclists. Find antiques, boutique wineries with great Oregon Pinot noirs, art studios, an artisan store, quilt shop, a gourmet deli,an annual Blueberry Festival, Apple Harvest Festival, lavender farm,organic meats and poultry,a steel furniture gallery,a barn filled with antiques, produce stands,wild mustangs,kid's camp,a farm stay in an historic farmhouse,a tour and shuttle service and a glorious guest lodge overlooking a championship golf course.
